Increasing the expertise of personnel capacities and certification of lecturers

As part of this activity, we focused on three areas of education and/or certification:

1. ICDL testing, consultation and preparation of study materials

The university has many years of experience in this area and therefore implemented it using internal capacities.

For the lecturers involved in the project and for potential lecturers in the sustainability period, the following modules were selected from the ICDL program:

For these modules, study materials were updated and provided to potential candidates for testing from among the members of the project team and later also to potential lecturers for the sustainability period as well. After communicating with them, dates for consultations and testing were agreed.

Overall, 15 people took part in this field of education.

46 hours of consultations were provided, during which 58 in-person consultations were carried out (some hours had multiple applicants).

A total of 54 certificates, were obtained, 45 from standard modules and 9 from advance modules.

2. Non-technical training in the field of cybersecurity

Non-technical training was aimed at increasing the knowledge and competencies of selected university employees in the field of cybersecurity investigation and management. The trainings lasted two days, they were carried out online by an external company, each one planned for 8 participants. The following trainings were selected:

A grand number of 24 ​​in-person trainings were carried out for 15 people, completed with a certificate.

3. Technical training in the field of cybersecurity

Technical training was aimed at increasing the knowledge and competencies of selected university employees in the field of administration and installation of networks, servers and software solutions focused on cybersecurity. The trainings lasted five days, they were carried out online by an external company. The following trainings were selected:

A grand number of 10 in-person trainings were carried out for 8 people, completed with a certificate.
