Cybercrime and Information Security: Two Sides of the Same Coin<\/strong><\/span><\/div>

The UPJ\u0160 Cybersecurity Competence Center (KC KB) has prepared another series of lectures for high school students, focused on on the field of cyber and information security.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
On June 19, 2025<\/strong><\/span> lecturers Monika Rapav\u00e1, Jakub Mohler and Miroslav Srholec from KC KB visited Gymn\u00e1zium sv. Ko\u0161ick\u00fdch mu\u010den\u00edkov,<\/strong><\/span> where they delivered a total of nine lectures about cyber and information security.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
High school students investigated security threats around us<\/strong>,<\/span> u\u010dili sa recognize the signs of various fraudulent messages<\/span> and received tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of scammers and fraudulent phishing messages.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
Mobile Device Security<\/strong><\/span> was presented to them not only on a theoretical level, but they also had the opportunity to increase the security of their devices using various settings on their mobile phones.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
Cyber \u200b\u200bprivacy and cybercrime investigation<\/strong><\/span> literally dragged them into investigating cases that take place in the real world, but their traces are hidden in the online space.<\/div><\/div>
It was a very informative morning and we believe that the students learned valuable knowledge that can help in everyday situations. Caution is never enough, especially in the online space and so you need to protect your privacy and think carefully about what you publish on the internet.<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
