Klaudia Kov\u00e1\u010dov\u00e1 \u2013 FF UPJ\u0160.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Round table \u2013 <\/strong><strong>University of Malaga, \u0160panielsko &#8211;\u00a0 21.1.-23.1.2026 <\/strong><\/span><\/h3><p>The working trip program consisted of three professional meetings that combined presentations of research results and discussions, with a significant part of the program being the implementation of a Roundtable on Cybersecurity with foreign partners at the<strong> University of Malaga, \u0160panielsko, <\/strong>on Thursday, January 22.<\/p><p>The working trip to Malaga was carried out as part of the development of international cooperation between Pavol Jozef \u0160af\u00e1rik University in Ko\u0161ice and foreign academic institutions. Its main goal was to establish and deepen professional contacts with the University of Malaga, exchange experiences in the field of applied mathematics, cybersecurity and data analysis, and identify common research topics with the potential for long-term cooperation.<\/p><p><strong>21.1.2026 (Wednesday) \u2013 Introductory working meetin <\/strong><\/p><p>The meeting was focused on a general discussion on the possibilities of cooperation in joint research activities. The intersections of research topics of both departments, the possibilities of involvement in international projects and the frameworks of long-term cooperation were discussed.<\/p><p><strong>22.1.2026 (Thursday) \u2013 Main expert meeting and round table<\/strong><\/p><p>The main meeting took the form of presentations and expert discussion between teams from both universities. The following topics were presented:<\/p><ul><li>Cybersecurity Competence Center (KCKB) \u2013 the activities of KCKB at UPJ\u0160, its main activities (research, education, expertise, cooperation) and the role of CSIRT-UPJ\u0160 as a key part of the center.<\/li><li>Formal concept analysis in cybersecurity \u2013 an overview of research focused on the use of formal concept analysis in the analysis of digital evidence, system logs and IDS alerts. The main topics discussed were the identification of relationships between attributes of digital evidence and the detection of anomalies or suspicious behavior patterns.<\/li><li>Rice-Siff algorithm - as an approximation approach to the construction of concept structures. Issues of compromise between computational efficiency and the quality of the resulting information were discussed.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>23.1.2026 (Friday) - Professional meeting on graph methods<\/strong><\/p><p>The last meeting focused on the use of graph methods and algorithms in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensic analysis. Basic graph models for representing system artifacts and their relationships, selected graph metrics, algorithms for shortest paths and flows in networks, as well as attack graphs were discussed. Special attention was paid to the applications of graph approaches in forensic data analysis and the identification of attack scenarios and anomalies.<\/p><p>The work trip confirmed the great professional overlap between the research topics of UPJ\u0160 and the University of M\u00e1laga. The discussions created a solid foundation for further scientific and research cooperation in the areas of formal concept analysis, graph methods and cybersecurity.<\/p><p>Participants from UPJ\u0160:<\/p><ul><li>Doc.
